Did you know that under the Eisenhower interstate system, that one mile in every 5 had to be a straight stretch. This was done in order to create an emergency airstrip for any airplanes that might need it. Makes sense if you think about Eisenhower's war experience. I am definitely going to have to keep an eye out for those straight stretches now.
Today has been a rough day on the pain front, much worse than it has been in a while, so I am really starting to count down the days until Monday. Of course, Monday will not bring relief, as I can't have the surgery that day, but at least it should bring me a step closer. To add to it, I have a headache and a really upset stomach tonight, too.
I counted 18 Kia's today. I really didn't go out for much of anything. I also saw a daffodil reference from a friend . . .that poem again.
I am going to call it a night and wish you well. I just can't focus on much at the moment.
Missing you,
MNP
PS:
Will you marry me?
