Was reading useless facts today to learn something new and came across that it takes an hour on average for the human stomach to digest cow's milk. Interesting. I can't handle milk or eggs, so I found this one to be particularly curious to know.
The pain has come back with a vengeance today, and it's decided to take over both sides of my neck. I even feel some pain down my left arm. This is just how it happened with my right arm last year and back in 2010/2011 when it was only my left side. I don't think the steroid is working at all. It has been nicer today since I only had to take 3 pills. I have one more to take. I know my stomach, at least, has had a better time today.
I finished reading Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin earlier today. Interesting book. I still think there were things that he could have shaved down, in particular the extensive descriptions, that would have made his work stronger, but I admire his discussions of love and life. There are several passages that I am going to look over in my detail now that I've finished. The philosophic side of me wants to process them on a deeper level. Now, I need to obtain some more books though because I have been reading so voraciously since you left that it has once again become a habit of mine.
I counted 53 Kia's today, and number 39 looked identical to you. It was leaving a bowling alley up in Hagerstown. Remember when we went bowling? Boy, we both sucked at that, but it was nice that we could laugh at ourselves. I also suddenly had another one of those improve your Alexa score emails. It's odd to me how they just pop up on me now and again.
Well, another weekend has left us. A week from tomorrow, I will be back in with the neurosurgeon to see where we go from here. I hope you had a fabulous weekend and that your week ahead will be a good one, and I hope that you will marry me.
Signing off,
MNP
