Yep, you read that right - mail cats, not male cats. I had never heard of this historical tidbit out of Belgium. In 1879, they actually attempted to train a group of cats to deliver their mail. Of course, it wasn't successful, but I have to give them credit for creativity. (http://stampcollectingroundup.blogspot.com/2009/07/mail-cats-of-belgium-1879.html)
Today I had my CT scan completed. Now, I think I've completed everything pre-surgery that I had to get done. I am just really ready for the surgery. I have been in as much pain today, as yesterday. I just seem to be going downhill in all sorts of ways. I've really noticed the balance and weakness issues getting worse, too.
I don't do too much most days now because of that pain. I did finish the book Rain Gods. Gotta slow down on reading though because I am really going to need that material post-surgery. I got caught up today on the Quantum Physics course reading, too.
I counted 45 total Kia's today. I worked with an author today whose name was Alexandra, as well. At the CT scan place there was a basket with HOPE on the side - that's all I have these days, so indeed I do.
Again, I must leave this writing now to retire. The only way to relive the pain some is to lay down on ice, not too pleasant with the cold back. I haven't heard anything from you in a few days now. I haven't thought of that constantly, but it crossed my mind now. I would so love to hear a word or two. I would so love to ask you, Will you marry me?
Yours through it all,
MNP
