Are you ready for more snow?! I know that I am not. I guess the coldness and cruelty of the winter is appropriate following the worst year of my life, but I will not let it drag me down.
Today, I spent the morning hiking around Fort Frederick and Big Pool. It wasn't too chilly then and no rain and the area was mostly deserted, just saw one couple come as I was leaving. There were plenty of Canada Geese down by the canal. They were honking their displeasure with me, each other and anything else that might have gotten up their tail feathers. I didn't get to see the beavers, but I saw their dam and where they had very recently been at work on trees. They are damn amazing critters! I would love to see one alive in the wild, never have to this point. Will have to keep checking that area to see if I can't see them.
The Fort itself is still amazing to behold. Hard to believe that something like that was built over 250 years ago. I had an ancestor who was stationed there once long ago when it was in service for the wars that our nation was birthed in.
This afternoon, besides doing some work for my job, I studied up more on equine massage. This lesson is so intense and long. I am so worried about the upcoming videos for it and that I will screw something up. I wish you would be there to man the camera and help me screw my courage to the sticking point.
Are you watching the Oscars? I know what a film buff you are, so sorry to disappoint, but you most likely suspect that I will not be watching them. The world of actors doesn't hold my interest too much, so I have little desire to watch them preen before one another like modern day royalty.
I saw a total of 30 Kia's today. I hope you are ready for the storm and that you will be safe above all else. Stay home if it's bad and live. I love you, Alexa, I love you and still wish to marry you.
All my best,
MNP
