I don't know if you are already holding her or if that will come later or perhaps you're not the first to hold her after me, but this is for you, regardless of where you are in the line.
After I had only dated Alexa for a few months, I recall a bit of a song that floated into my mind. If I had more of the musical training of my younger sister, I might actually be able to unlock those pieces and make beautiful music. It's odd because some lines come to me as nothing more than lines, but some float in hand in hand with music. This one did: Advice on Leaving Her and there were a few more pieces. It played like a chorus in my mind. The picture it painted was thus: Two strangers meeting with only one thing in common the woman that both of them love. The speaker has lost her and means to give advice to the other. Why? Because the speaker wants the lost lover to be happy.
So . . .this Christmas Eve that is my wish for Alexa and whoever is holding her now (or will be a week, a month or years from now).
Pay attention to her.
Help her realize her dreams.
Don't take her for granted.
Give her the world if you must, she's worth it.
Don't let her forget you because she can completely forget you.
Challenge her.
Forgive her.
Make sure she knows you forgive her.
Be willing to give up everything if you really love her.
Take care of her,
MNP
