This should interest your recent penchant for all things mathematical. How many ways are there to make change for a US dollar bill? 293 different ways! A dollar seems like such a small denomination of money, but when you take a moment to look at all the ways you can make a dollar, it really shows that it isn't all that small, just in one way, the most common way of perceiving things. So to me, the lesson in that random fact is just that - perception powerfully impacts (and can limit) what we see as possible.
Well my date with surgery has been set for April 25. What fun for a Friday night to be stuck in a hospital. It's been so long since I was in a hospital for myself, clear back to when I was a little kid in New Orleans. I can't say that I ever wanted to go back to a hospital for anything and still don't, but this must be endured.
I got the new alternator into my SUV yesterday only to discover I didn't have the needed tool for the tensioner to get the drivebelt back on. GRRRR I got the tool tonight, and will be getting my SUV back in order then. Have to get it done now because I won't be able to do much of anything post-surgery until I am healed and the fusion has taken.
I can't believe that Ft. Hood is once again the scene of a mass shooting. Sadly, I am not shocked to see it happen again, but in the same place is shocking. I could go on and on about my beliefs on why these things happen and how to fix them, but I think that would be wrong. I'll leave it that my thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by the event.
I counted 68 total Kia's today and number 20 looked identical to yours.
I miss you much today, Alexa. Will you marry me?
Love,
